Mandala Dance is the authorial practice of Maya Mandala: conscious movement built on breath, rhythm, grounding, and presence, danced in a circle. In her method, movement is the instrument through which attention and energy are trained together — the body teaching what no explanation can.

Maya has spent over 30 years exploring the connection between body, movement, and consciousness, and the practice grew out of that exploration: a precise vocabulary of circles, figure-eights, spirals, and waves, carried through the hands, hips, and breath. It begins simply, with the basics of the body, and opens into years of depth.
