Maya Mandala has spent over 30 years meeting women who put themselves at the end of a long list — and noticing what that costs in the body: the tiredness that sleep does not clear, the rhythms lost to endless demands. Her teaching places women’s self-care in the felt territory — the body, its age, its rhythm — and treats caring for oneself as a practice, in addition to a task.
What supports a woman also changes with age: rest, movement, and emotional care ask different things at different stages of life.
